Strong against Red enemies (Deals 1.5x damage, only takes 1/2 damage) Health up or strong up orbs can further improve on this, with either having some advantages and disadvantages over the other. This leaves the health buff as the only truly worthwhile upgrade, as Maximum is very effective in 4-crown Stories of Legend, where higher survivability would definitely help. ![]() Resistance to Toxic and Curse are way too situational and barely effective to be worth any NP. The Weaken and Slow immunities are situational talents for Maximum, as they can both only come into play in a handful of stages and for not great effect, with the main exceptions being all of the stages that feature Hannya and some of the stages that feature Professor A., but not as a direct counter to the latter, rather to keep the pressure on enemy frontliners despite the slow. However, Maximum can still be viable as the ease of buffing this unit, compared to a Super Rare Cat, can also contribute to this Cat staying strong enough to be relevant at any point in the game, at least in 4-crown stages. Outside of 4-crown, he can be superfluous at times, mainly due to Roe Cat's far higher defensive capabilities and Normal/ Crazed or Manic Island's ability to do the same job. Maximum the Fighter's high stats make it a very valuable asset in any anti-red army, especially in 4-crown Stories of Legend. He is also considerably helpful for Crazed Gross, Crazed Bird and Crazed Titan. Once you obtain this Cat in early game, Viking Cat will destroy the first 2 chapters of Empire of Cats. Its rapid attack speed, Strong against Red ability, decent attack damage and VERY high health for its cost makes it an incredibly well-rounded Cat with no real weaknesses pre-EoC 3 Moon. Think of this Cat, especially in Normal and Evolved Form, as a heavier version of Axe Cat or Ninja Cat, trading cost and cooldown for significantly higher health and attack power.
